Aspires to be a leader in the future of agriculture
Clients are provided with real-time agrometeorological information (including temperature, humidity, and precipitation) from specific areas obtained by our automatic weather stations (AWS), which are installed and maintained regularly. This contributes the creation of systematic farming and minimizes possible damage to crops due to meteorological unpredictabilities.
Interpolated meteorological information, which reflects geographical features, is displayed on maps by means of the GIS map viewer. Collected weather data such as temporal data and daily/monthly analysis information is plotted on charts and graphs, and downloads of original files are also available.
Various research on mathematical/statistical forecasting models, obtained through professional biological experiments under controlled and uncontrolled environments, was conducted. We make use of diseases and insect pests forecasting models for different crops such as rice, apples, pears, grapes, and tangerines. These models were developed in the lab and published in journals. Systemized data of warning levels obtained from each model are conveyed by web and SMS so that the end users (farmers and officials in agricultural departments) can easily access the information. In addition, diagnosis and control information regarding each disease and insect pest is available.
Both prediction and investigation data about the occurrence of diseases and insect pests is expressed via Web-GIS technology. The data includes Eup/Myeon (town) units as well as Si/Gun (city/district) units, which can be zoomed in and out on the map. The system comprises a map viewer which responds to the user’s request, and a map server which processes the maps and properties in order to provide prediction information via Web-GIS.
We manage the information on farms as well as investigation data regarding diseases, insect pests, and plant growth registered by the users to make it possible to compare and analyze the data by year. We also provide users with a web-based real-time monitoring service for diseases and insect pests. We try our best to encourage feedback on our products by maintaining communication between both members and organizations concerned.
